General Info & Services

Parent Group:

Our group meets four times a year as a support group at local community venues in Henderson, KY at 6:00 pm. It is for any parent, grandparent, teacher, friend that has someone in their lives with Autism.
We also have monthly family events to help get families and those living with autism to get out and experience life and its many challenges.

TEAM-G

A group created for 18-year-old (that no longer attends high school) and older adults with autism to help them develop friendships, sense of community, and opportunities to step out of their comfort zones and try new things with a group of peers that support them.   If you are interested in this program, please contact us personally and we will get you more information.

Family Events:

Each month we offer family events to help you expose your children to new things; make new friends; learn social skills; create peer interactions.   Some events we have had in the past are going to pumpkin patch, painting/art events, horse exposure, day camps, bowling; pizza parties and video games; family Christmas parties and entertainment, swim parties, and our fundraising event, Walk for Autism.   Pictures of different events can be found below.

"Wish" Grants:

Experiencing Autism Together has raised  funds  to help our local autism spectrum families.  We've developed grant program called “Wishes".  Our goal is to provide outings and activities that expose our autism spectrum kids to new experiences and expand their exposure to the world with their families.  We accept "Wishes" from the following Kentucky counties: Henderson, Hopkins, Union & Webster. (This program is currently available but can end at any time due to insufficient funds).    If you would like a wish application, please call us at 270-748-4504.
